Man MadeIn the early morning I saw a newborn fawn with its nose in the snow She looked at me but didn't move, as if naively assuming I'd never hurt her And I briefly wondered what could bring anyone to kill something so smallMan Made
A few days ago I saw a small dog sitting on the corner of the street Just waiting, probably for someone he loved to come back for him I could feel the trust and security he had for his person as he sat on his haunches And I fleetingly wondered how someone could hurt something so loving
Today I saw two men fighting over something mundane They beat each other with

mouth wash.mouth wash.

I thought I might go see you today but then I realized how stupid that would be because seeing you would not be seeing you at all it would be meeting someone else and I didn't want to have to introduce myself again or deal with the fact that you don't remember me

Every time I pass by your old city I get this little spark of happiness because I assume you go back there every now and then and feel something other than pissed off at the world then I get angry because I wasn't the one who could make you feel that way

In Movie TheatersHe looks so beautiful in the dark- and no that's not meant to be cruel or unkind or to imply I really just don't like looking at himIn Movie Theaters
but this morning he didn't bring heat to his hair so it sticks up like baby bird feathers on the side of his head black and orange and blue and lovely in yellow light
I hold my finger to his mouth as if to say oh, shush and he just kisses it and laughs because you just can't take that kind of thing seriously
He looks so lovely in the dark and I can feel the girls on the other side of us thin

He said No.In a pulsing crowd we closed our eyes and said, No. Like a beating heart we throbbed, Don't go, don't go. But you did You left in the night Just packed your things and didn't leave a note Just sort of expected we'd know what had happened We did, and it didn't make it any betterHe said No.
It would only be unfair if we called it unfair Ten thousand eyes sharing one set of binoculars Watching from afar and pretending we don't care We do, I promise But not for the reasons you think
Of a million stars, you flickered like a flashlight lost your batteries and died &nbs

Ride into the night
and they'll never make you f*****n bleed
And fly into the sky
until they bring you to your f*****n knees

"Did you dream?"
No
"Tell me a dream?"
I rarely dream
"You're broke."

I spilled my guts
I gave myself away
Never in only one way
Should have never had trust
Stay inside
Keep my lust.
